Last night’s dinner is Sinigang na Bangus and Pork Steak. These are definitely Keto dishes for the fish and pork are high fat (belly part for the Bangus), moderate protein and zero carbs. The low carb is coming from the kangkong in the Sinigang which you can eat as much as you can for it’s low caloric content. While onion in pork steak can be low carb, you can’t eat too much of it due to sugar that comes out when it caramelizes during cooking process. That explains the sweet taste in onion sometimes. Aren’t you glad that you don’t have to prepare gourmet dishes for dinner to be on keto or low carb?
