Tuna and Avocado Salad

To those who have joined me in my low carb/keto journey months ago knew that salad is a lunch staple for me at work. This helps me ensure that I get may daily serving of veggies. I normally alternate egg and tuna. For today, I am having tuna avocado salad. My favorite canned tuna brand is Gold Seas as it is the only local brand that uses olive oil vs. vegetable oil from other brands. Vegetable oil is not keto as it is highly processed. I have added avocado as it is back in season! Avocado along with berries (strawberries, blueberries, etc.) are the only keto approved fruits because of their low sugar content. Everything else is high in sugar including oranges and apple. I poured in chimichurri dressing from Go Salad in the avocado and it made the taste even better. For the lettuce, the oil of the canned tuna served as its dressing.
